Knowledge of the following environmental management principles and concepts:
- The PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act).
- The fundamental components of a management system and how top management responsibilities, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review, and continuous improvement are interrelated.
- Environmental performance improvement, compliance obligations fulfilment, and accomplishment of environmental goals.
- The completion of a CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 14001:2015 Foundation (EMS) training course or its equivalent will give you knowledge of ISO 14001's requirements as well as the definitions of commonly used environmental management terms.
- A pre-questionnaire exam of comprehension will be given upon enrolment for the course.

- Documentation of the Environmental Management System is being audited.
- Performing an audit of the ISO 19011 standard's requirements;
- Auditor Roles and Responsibilities; Auditor Roles and Responsibilities
- Audit Planning—Audit Plan; Checklists, Non-Conformance Reports; Audit Reporting—Final Team Meeting/ Follow-up; Verification/ Audit Records; Exercises, Case Studies, and so on.
- Course Examination; Accreditation/ Certification and Auditor Registration

Who Should Attend This Course?
Anyone who is or aspires to be:
- A Third-Party Assessor or Lead Assessor of ISO 14001:2015
- Responsible for undertaking audits of suppliers/subcontractors as per ISO 14001:2015
- Responsible for implementing internal audits and audit programs as per ISO 14001:2015
- Responsible for implementing the ISO 14001 series of standards.
Course Outline
The course starts at 0830 hrs. and ends approximately at 1800 hrs. Maximum attendance 10 delegates per tutor.
Lunch Break: 45 min.
Coffee Breaks: Mid-morning & Mid-afternoon (Max. 10 min. each)
Pre-course information is sent to delegates approximately a week prior to the beginning of the course
